Review:
The Valentine Bride, the final installment in The Brides of Bella Lucia, is a wonderfully engrossing romantic novel written by one of the finest writers of category romance writing today – Liz Fielding!
Louise and Max Valentine have been attracted to one another ever since they were teenagers, but as they were both raised to think that they were cousins they never could act on their attraction – until now! Louise has just discovered the truth about her parentage and she’s furious that she’s been lied to for all these years and that she’s never been told that she’s adopted.
Refusing to have anything whatsoever to do with the Valentine family and the Bella Lucia business, she sets up her own PR business and vows never to speak to a Valentine again – until her childhood crush, Max, comes knocking on her door asking for her PR expertise.
Louise’s first instinct is to refuse, but when she finally accepts, little does she know that her old childhood feelings are about to resurface and that she’s going to be falling in love with Max, hook, line and sinker all over again.
Liz Fielding is a wonderful writer whose stories never fail to keep me engrossed from beginning to end and The Valentine Bride is no exception! Louise is a fiery, stubborn yet vulnerable heroine whom I just adored and Max is simply gorgeous!
The Valentine Bride is charming, gripping and heartwarming and you’ll be eagerly turning the pages of this book late into the night and counting the days until Liz Fielding’s next novel!
