Back-Blurb:

Passion in London, Paris, NY...

As a lowly assistant on a magazine, Mel had been roped in to help out a colleague - and now she was about to be caught red-handed! She was hiding in the bath of a hotel suite, and the room's celebrity occupant, Jack Devlin, had just returned - to have a shower!

The millionaire was dark, brooding, handsome - and the passion that followed was amazing! Now he'd asked Mel to write the exclusive story on Jack Devlin. Travelling first class, she would join the jet set (and the mile-high club!) in spectacular style... but only for a week or two. For it seemed Jack would never trust anyone enough to offer more than an intensely passionate Christmas affair...

Review:

What is it about Heidi and naked men in the opening chapter of her books?!? Not that I'm complaining, mind... :)

Mel Rourke finds herself in a bind when her journalist best friend cons her into sneaking into a strangers room at the Ritz to find out if he is the elusive best-selling author, Jack Devlin. Hearing the key in the lock, she runs into the bathroom and hides in the bath. Imagine Jack's suprise when he pulls the shower curtain, ready to get in! It was a night neither of them would soon forget but with both of them using different identities, their next meeting was sure to be full of fireworks!

The Mile-High Club is a fun, entertaining read with spunky and enjoyable characters. It was particularly sweet... and later on interesting, how Mel distracted Jack from his fear of flying. Circumstances from his past makes Jack weary of love and a recent disaster of a relationship has Mel not trusting the likes of Jack and I couldn't help but cheer them on in their journey towards love and each other.

Did you know that Heidi had to get her French sister-in-law Isabel to provide Jack's three lines of French dialogue because, to her utter shame - and despite having three little French-speaking nieces and nephews - like her heroine Mel she can't speak the lingo herself.
