Review:

Michelle Styles latest romance, An Impulsive Debutante, is a terrific Regency featuring an irrepressible heroine, a dashing hero and plenty of charm, humour, drama and passion to keep you engrossed late into the night!

Carlotta Charlton’s dreams of being launched into society and marrying a rich, titled gentleman grind to a halt when her wayward mouth gets her into trouble. To punish her, her pompous brother, Henry, sends her off to her cousin Frances’ house in the country- much to Lottie’s chagrin, who soon grows to detest her daffy cousin. But life in the countryside soon brightens up for Lottie when she comes across a strikingly attractive gentleman in an abandoned churchyard.

Tristan, Lord Thorngrafton, has returned to England from the Continent after being banished for a dalliance with a much older woman. Tristan hopes to bring order back to his estate and to confront his errant cousin for impersonating him and for spending all his money on booze, women and gambling. Tristan hasn’t had much luck with women, but there is something about Lottie Charlton which thoroughly intrigues him!

When a passionate kiss leads the two in trouble, Tristan realizes that the only option open to him is marriage. Falling in love with his bride wasn’t on the agenda, but Tristan soon finds himself wanting to spend every hour of the day with Lottie – in and out of the bedroom!

Michelle Styles has outdone herself with this delightful Regency romance! An Impulsive Debutante is an enthralling and evocative novel that is packed with all the atmosphere, romance, intrigue and drama which we’ve come to expect from the wonderful pen of Michelle Styles!

Sensual, spellbinding and wonderfully written, An Impulsive Debutante is another keeper from this wonderful writer of historical romantic fiction!
