Author Nicola Marsh brought back so many memories for me with Wild Nights with her Wicked Boss. This heartfelt and warm romance takes place in the state of Alaska. A place I not only visited so many times due to work but a place that stole my heart. I can’t even begin to describe my experience while reading this beautifully crafted romance. Both of these characters tugged at my heart and their personalities leaped off the pages and so did their chemistry.

Rhys Cartwright was quite the handsome millionaire and owned a tour operating company which catered to clients who wanted to experience Alaska. However, early on he had experienced the loss of his older brother and he and his brother the rejection of their parents after his brother’s death. Later on he would also experience the loss and death of his girlfriend for which he blamed himself. So love and commitment, absolutely not! However he did care very much for his brother and family who lived in Australia. Callum and Starr's story were in Overtime in the Bosses Bed.

And then there was the lovely Australian society girl, Jade Beacham. She had lived the high society life and had been spoiled by her parents. However, not only did her parents let her down by their betrayal in their own marriage, so had her fiance when she found out he had been cheating on her. Now she had the chance to make something of her life and live independent from her family. Her first interview to be a tour guide with Wild Thing was with Callum Cartwright, the CEO’s brother and now she would have her interview with the owner of the Alaska tour company, Rhys Cartwright. Let’s just say it wasn’t the normal interview and there were lots of sparks flying on both sides. However, she got the job and was quite surprised due to her lack of experience. What she didn’t know was that dear old dad had secured the job for her.

Jade was determined to succeed because at the end of season she wanted to return to Australia and study biology. However, she was so attracted to Rhys and he was attracted to her as well. They fought their attraction every step of the way but in the end when they were left along at his lodge, they made love. Rhys could tell she felt something for him and he didn’t want to hurt her so he told her absolutely no more, it was over. Her pride and determination in tact, she worked doubly hard and her two male co-workers admired her determination and secretly so did Rhys.

Jade was under Rhys skin and she drove him crazy. He was determined she would never have his heart but he wanted her so badly.  It was their turn to make the journey to Skagway, AK for supplies.  Rhys was determined to give Jade the date they never shared.  They went to dinner, again made love and stayed overnight at his condo. He knew then and there he was in trouble but what he didn’t know was that he would hurt her beyond repair when she overheard a phone conversation concerning the terms of her employment with Wild Thing.

The hero Rhys Cartwright and heroine Jade Beacham were so real, warm, spirited and funny and you’ll actually feel like you’re personally on their journey. Jade and Rhys had suffered so much loss; Jade due to betrayal by her fiance and her parents and Rhys by the death of his brother and girlfriend. Their journey wasn’t an easy one, it was full of obstacles but in the end and oh what an ending it was spectacular!

Wild Nights with her Wicked Boss had a most creative and beautiful ending. It’s one you definitely won’t want to miss because Nicola Marsh’s love of romance, love of Alaska was truly portrayed in this most amazing love story.

Dancer Starr Merriday you’ll love as she was cheeky, sexy, and at the top of her list she just wanted to belong and have a home, because a home was important to her as she never had one as a child. Her parents uprooted her more times than she cared to remember because they were actors and moved around only thinking of themselves and never Starr.

Talk about a sexy and handsome alpha, Callum Cartwright was not only that he was a billionaire and CEO of Cartwright Corporation the family business. He was a workaholic, worked 24/7 but not by choice. His order brother Archie at one time ran it but Archie was no long alive and Callum blamed himself for his death. To prove himself to his parents he drove himself to take the business to the top for fourteen years but it was never enough for his mother and father because they blamed Cal for his brothers death. Because he was so driven, he didn’t do relationships but on one particular night while having drinks with friends, he met the most beautiful woman and that was Starr.

Overtime in the Boss’s Bed was absolutely “heavenly” to read because in the end it was about love, home and finding happiness. I especially loved this book because not only did the heroine get her man, Callum the sexy hero had some closure and quit beating himself up over his brother’s death plus he got the woman he so deserved and loved.

Nicola Marsh has penned an outstanding love story in Marriage: For Business or Pleasure? It is evident that Ms. Marsh is incredibly talented when it comes to writing stories guaranteed to inflame the senses of her readers

Nick and Brittany had a past as 10 years ago they were lovers. For Nick she was the one but he sent her away.   However, Britt was determined to leave because of an abusive father and when she asked Nick to go with her, he turned her down. Now ten years later she’s back with a proposition to the Mancini’s and if they agree, she’ll get the promotion she’s determined to get putting her at the top of her field in advertising..

Nick is now the only Mancini running the family sugar cane plantation he inherited from his father. He has also become a millionaire and own several five star hotels. He can’t believe Britt has come back home and when he hears her proposal he ups the anty by offering her marriage because in order to branch out internationally if he’s married he won’t portray a playboy image. Britt still affects him but Nick doesn’t believe in love. He didn’t love her ten years ago, he felt he lusted after her. To him love meant loss, loneliness, and pain emotions he could do without.  The women in his life walked away and the only thing he knew for sure was the Mancini plantation and his hotel chain.

Ten years of wasted time away from each other for this couple, years of hurt, pain, misunderstanding and they’ve both kept secrets from each other. While Britt was here in Australia they had eight weeks together, plus she needed to visit her father and try to make amends before he died. All of the abusive memories came flooding back to her and when she saw her father, nothing had changed, he was still the same mean and angry man she left ten years earlier. So now she wants to focus on her career and that meant speding time at her new husband, out at the plantation where it all began, making her pitch to get her promotion. Can her heart stand being around the love of her life?  Yes, because they become intimate and she realizes how much she loves this man and how if would hurt to much to leave him again.  She wants it all and most important of all, his love.

His “red” still affects him; nothing has changed that fact.   However, keeping his hands off her was becoming more difficult; the stolen kisses, touching and now she was his wife and after having her, he wanted it all.  But first he had to settle the score with her father.  Back then he had the need to show the town and Britt he could be a success and now he's determined  to become a success in the international market as well.

And then things start to unravel; secrets, trust issues cause it all to explode in their faces. Nick realizes he loves her and trys to prove it but she in the end she leaves and returns to London. The ending surprised me because I had hoped all would end well for this couple. I didn’t think I would shed a tear……wrong!  I admired this Italian bad-boys stamina to get the woman he loved back. Hold on to your heart, because the ending chapters will surprise you.

Nicola Marsh ties everything together and made this the most magnificent love story taking their past into the future, giving the reader a romantic story full of second chances.

Nicola Marsh again charms her readers with Two Weeks in the Magnates Bed. Zac and Lana’s love story takes place on the high seas in the beautiful South Pacific. I could certainly relate to the experience onboard a cruise ship as I worked for a major cruise line for over 15 years. The author gets it right and weaves such a romantic tale one feels there are experiencing being pampered, wined and dined plus seeing exotic sights.

Lana Walker is all work and no play and it didn’t pay off. She’s been passed over due to her shyness by the museum she works for and wasn’t asked to go on a business trip. However, she won a cruise and decided to make the best of it and was determined to have fun. So can you imagine when an extremely handsome cruise employee rescues her from falling, she’s well let’s say she’s overwhelmed.

Zac McCoy has a huge job to do as his uncle is counting on him to find out who’s causing accidents on their fleet of cruise ships. Jac’s job is to pose as an onboard employee not the shipping magnate he is. He is determined to assist his uncle in solving the mystery. He loves and his uncle knows he has a limited time with him as his uncle he has a terminal illness and is going to put Zac in charge of the cruise line. When he spots Lana and keeps her from falling he’s definitely interested. He is constantly teasing and tempting her and he was a fun, romantic and very much the gentleman to read.

Zac is not your typical Presents alpha who demands and takes; he literally charms and courts Lana. He sees Lana for who she is, not some made up beauty and he sees the real her, a woman with needs and who wants to break free of “her conservative mould”. However, he’s not honest with her about his position or wealth. In the end, when it back fires it breaks Lana’s heart because she’s fallen in love with this handsome and charming man.

Lana has been hurt in the past by another man. What she wanted most from Zac was honestly something he couldn’t give her. So when she finds out he’s not an employee but soon to be the head of the cruise line, she’s devastated. Yes he’d changed her but can she ever trust him again? Want a happy ending, well then you’re sure to get one with this fun and fantastic read as only Nicola Marsh can pen.

The book is stunning! It’s a negotiation in more ways than you can imagine but when you meet Cooper, you’ll fall absolutely in love……he’s not only handsome, rich, smart, and has a sense of humour, he’s sexy and sensitive. I have to mention that the Presents title does not reflect the storyline or the power it delivers but as we all know sometimes authors don’t get a choice.

Ariel well as far as I’m concerned she’s the “star” of this book. She’s was rescued by a wonderful woman who she calls Aunt Barb. She was an orphan and Barb found her wrapped in an “art” canvas when she was a small child. Barb has given her a meaning to live and a sense of family. How can a reader not be drawn to this woman, this beautiful, funny, talented artist who wants to keep Aunt Barb’s memory and art gallery alive? And guess what? Cooper’s corporation wants to take it away from her…..buy and develop the site.

How they initially meet, what transpires and the chemistry between Cooper and Ariel sizzles right off the page. Their interaction, the cat and mouse game they play from the beginning to end, your heart will clench. I adored this book; it’s charming, funny and sexy and extremely moving thanks to Nicola Marsh!

Nicola says, ‘The inspiration behind the main characters? After seeing a naked-from-the-waist-up pic of Mark Phillipoussis, Australian tennis star, (advertising tinned tomatoes of all things!) he was the perfect role model for Cooper.

Similarly, I saw a pic of Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins in a magazine wearing a floaty, chiffon caftan thing which screamed 'boho artist' and Ariel was born!’
