Xavier vowed never to get involved with a colleague ever again – until his gaze fell upon the community midwife Charlotte Buchanan.
Charlotte finds herself drawn to Xavier even though he poses a threat to her work in the community. She knows that she should resist him. But as the two begin to work together, Xavier and Charlotte realize that they’ve fallen for one another, but is Xavier willing to give his heart to someone else?
