lily has been let down very badly in the past and is wary of Karim. If she tells herself they will have a sexy fling until Karim has to go back home, she thinks it will work. She does not anticipate losing her heart and is faced with a heartbreaking choice - to marry the man she loves but give up everything she has worked towards for years.
Karim knows lily is everything the wife of a Sheikh should not be. If he marries the woman he loves, he will let down his family. I truly could not see how I was going to get my Happy Ever After with this book. However, with masterful writing and skillful insight, Kate Hardy managed to pull this off. And then some. The end had me crying - which, to me, is aways the sign of a fantastic read.
