Back-Blurb:
Tycoon Damon Blakely had one year to produce a legitimate heir. Luckily he had a bride candidate in mind. Lily Grayson had been the perfect mistress…until she'd left him. And when he proposed his plan, Damon learned why. Lily was already expecting his baby.

The millionaire's shock and anger was quickly trounced by Lily's counteroffer. She would give their child his name…but theirs would be a paper marriage. Lily claimed Damon had no room in his heart for anything beyond business. The terms of his proposal left him little room to argue…until he could get Lily back into his bed.

Review: (average of hearts overall out of 35 – so total hearts divided by five?) ♥♥♥♥♥

Ms. Bailey makes her debut with CLAIMING HIS BOUGHT BRIDE, an enjoyable Silhouette Desire.

Damon Blakely is determined to seek revenge on his uncle and take everything that he deems is his. Unfortunately, his uncle is deathly ill and informs Damon the only way he'll inherit the company he covets is to marry and have an heir.

Lily Grayson never thought she'd see Damon again, until she finds herself pregnant with his baby. However, she's convinced she wants to raise the baby on her own and wants nothing to do with Damon. But when he comes to her with his idea of a marriage of convenience, allowing her the chance to look after her aunt and not worry about money, she finds herself agreeing. However it seems Damon wants the marriage of convenience to turn into more of a marriage than she does and he'll do what he has to in order to get her back in his bed.

I really liked Lily right away as she forced herself to tell Damon the truth about her pregnancy and when Damon throws the wild idea of a marriage of convenience at her. Despite the fact it would solve a lot of her problems, she'd also be involved again with Damon, something she's really not sure is the best idea in the world.

The one thing Ms. Bailey does amazing well is creating a very detailed world for Lily and Damon. Not only a physical world, but their pasts come to startling life on the page as well, showing the reader the sometimes sad and tragic events that have led to the Lily and Damon of today and what the two must overcome to truly love and trust each other.

Readers looking for a sexy emotional read should pick up CLAIMING HIS BOUGHT BRIDE.
