Talk about conflict and a shared past which involved a short term marriage. Now ten years later Brenna Walsh is faced with not only loosing her beloved stepfather Max. She was also forced to see his son, her billionaire ex-husband Jack Garrett. However, they have a huge problem as Brenna and Jack now share the joint ownership of Amante Verano Cellars they recently inherited It’s been Brenna’s whole focus and life while Jack just wants to sell his share that his father Max left to them both. On top of that, the chemistry is still there for both of them, the fire, the passion and the sad memories of their failed marriage.

Talk about fireworks with an exclamation mark! Fireworks doesn’t even describe their arguments nor their desire for each other. It completely complications the situation every step of the way because Brenna wants the winery to be a huge success and she’s sure they can put Amante Verano on the map if she’s just given the chance. However, the winery means nothing to Jack, he doesn’t share her passion. It’s intense emotion and their affair sizzles off the pages, like the hot Caribbean sun!

Leaving behind her cheating fiancé and her “crazy” family, Ally Smith sets out on a Caribbean adventure that should have been her honeymoon, staying at a not so nice hotel. And then she spots him one sunny Caribbean day, the most handsome man she’s yet to see and the attraction between them is immediate. She meets him at a harbour where yachts and boats are moored. They discuss the boat he’s restoring and he asks her out for a meal because their attraction is so immediate they don’t even make it to dinner, they return to her hotel and make love. It’s a whirlwind and sensual couple of days until Ally is called back to the states to deal with a family emergency. She leaves a brief goodbye note with no contact information.

Chris Wells and his family are prominent shipbuilding and racing owners and he’s determined to purchase the Circe part of his family history, his father’s first win. Chris was a racer today because of his father and particular yacht. And then he meets Ally, so the work is delegated to friends because he wants to spend time with her, lots of time. Trust me on this, the author is very graphic with amazing, sizzling and sensual scenes, And then abruptly their time together ends. However, he bribes the hotel manager for her contact information and now weeks later he still hasn’t called her because her note “stung”; he felt he deserved more from her due to their intimacy and enjoyable time spent together.

Ally returns home to her business and partner and her “nutty” emotional family. She’s their caretaker, she’s the rock in her family and she’s also finds out she’s pregnant with Chris’s baby; it’s definitely his but she’s not going to contact him. And then the unbelievable happens, he calls her at the insistence of a family friend, her partner misinterprets who he is and spills the beans. Furious, he comes to Savannah to confront her and talk about World War III, you’ll shutter just reading about their reunion, quite different from their passionate time spent in the Caribbean together.

Be prepared for emotional ups and downs as penned by the very talented Kimberly Lang. She so nails the emotions and the passion which literally leaps off of the pages. Kimberly takes all emotions into consideration, Chris, Ally, his grandfather, her crazy parents and so much more and makes one wonder if this drop dead gorgeous and daring man and the sweet, sensible accountant will have a chance for the future. It brings a lot to mind. Should a marriage take place for the sake of the baby? Should it take place because of the passion they share? Because they come from two different worlds and life style, do they have a chance?

Author Kimberly Lang delights and charms her readers with the sensual Millionaire’s Misbehaving Mistress. It’s a fun and heart-warming romance involving a billionaire, his teenage half sister who needs help with etiquette and manners. The Harrison family and the CEO Will Harrison from HarCorp International are the crème of Dallas society. Will’s company is sponsoring a gala event in a few weeks and his sister Evie will need to be presented to society. Evie is sort of a “free spirit” and recently lost her mom and needs to learn the proper etiquette.

Gwen Sawyer runs Everyday Etiquette and also writes an advice column for a teen website. She’s no stranger to knowing proper etiquette. She and her sister were schooled by their mother as Gwen’s father was in Foreign Service. Gwen’s training has been in protocol. It has always been her desire to work for a large corporation providing social training. She lost a chance five years ago when there was a scandal in Washington DC involving Gwen and her boss. She came to Dallas and set up a very successful business training debs for their society debuts. She also authors a blog on a teen website, sort of an advice column.

Will Harrison was the sort of alpha every girl dreams of, the perfect physical specimen, very handsome, wealthy, and charming and oozes sexual charm. It’s also obvious he adores his kid half sister. However, when he actually hires and meets Gwen for the first time, she piques his interest and he asks her to move into their home so that she can school Evie on a daily basis, sharing meals, tutoring her in studies and hopefully she’ll be ready to debut in Texas society. As much as I adored Will, it was Gwen who literally spoke to me.

Gwen realizes she has a second chance when Will Harrison hires her to help with his sister. If she does well, then his corporation might give her a chance and hire her for what she’s been train for and she can give up training society debs for good. However, when she actually meets the man himself, she’s very attracted to him, so much so that she realizes if she could be in trouble. As she tells her sister, “she simply trains Princesses – she would get Prince Charming.”

Reading about the three of them…..Will, Evie and Gwen well it was just plain amazing to see how they seemed to learn and grow together, so much so, they actually became the perfect family. Will was not so dedication to his job, in fact he shocked those close to him as he actually left the office on time. Evie and Gwen’s process of bonding and becoming friends was very sweet to read. However, it was Gwen who realized Will was the most amazing man she had ever met and she was afraid she would loose her heart if she wasn’t careful. She not only lost her heart, it became broken in the most serious way by Will misunderstanding an overheard conversation. What I admired about Gwen’s character was how strong she was and how she bounced back.

There are always lessons to be learned and Will learns his the hard way when he realizes he was at fault and also realizes there are more important things in life than business….love and family!

In “Dear Reader” Kimberly says “blame it on my very deep Southern roots, but I’m completely fascinated with etiquette. My obsession, however extends beyond flatware and thank-you notes to very ‘out there’ information I’ll never have an actual need to use – like dinner seating protocol when both an ex-President and a member of the royal family are present. One day, when I was nose-first into an etiquette text, I found the inspiration for this book in a quote by the great Miss Manners, Judith Martin: “’We are all born charming, fresh and spontaneous, and must be civilised before we are fit to participate in society.’

The above quote sparked Kimberly’s imagination and the dinner scene you’ll read in Chapter Two of The Millionaire’s Misbehaving Mistress.

The Secret Mistress Arrangement is Kimberly Lang’s debut contemporary and it’s magnificent. As a reader I’m always so excited to read a new author, especially a M&B or Presents author. Honestly, they never let me down and Kimberly is no exception. I’m also a true romantic at heart so when I began reading this book and it began with a wedding setting, I was overjoyed and not disappointed.

Mel and Ella are best friends and Ella wants to make Mel’s wedding the wedding of her dreams. They were college roommates and later roomed together in Chicago. She is very special to Ella as she has no family and Mel and her family have adopted Ella into their fold. Let’s just say Ella’s fond memories of family as such, relate to her grandparents who raised her.

Ella is petite, beautiful, feisty, bright, organized and is making plans after the wedding to move to Alabama to begin a new job, a new life and return to her Grands home. Quite honestly she has commitment issues and you will want to help her along because she is such a lovely woman who needs that extra “push”.

The groom and Matt have known each other forever and Matt is his best man. He has arrived late for the rehearsal dinner from Atlanta due to a late flight. This attorney is to die for; he’s handsome, he has an incredible body and well let’s just say is very very good at everything he does in and out of the bedroom. Matt’s goal is to make partner by his mid thirties and he’s a workaholic. He comes from a large and close family, is the youngest and even though he loves his family, would rather spend his time in Chicago with Ella.

Matt and Ella’s journey in finding love begins with a dance at their friends wedding and then Matt invites Ella to dinner and the chemistry between them is hot! They act upon their attraction and the next morning they make the decision to continue their affair in secret for a week. In return Matt will help Ella pack for her move and it will give him time to get to know this lovely woman. Their time together will take your breath away, not only their passion but their romantic journey, first as friends and then as lovers.

Matt and Ella’s goodbyes, well have some tissues ready for the farewell and for their future struggles. Kimberly Lang has crafted such a beautiful and romantic love story. I congratulate Kimberly on her debut book and look forward to reading many more.
