Sean O’Reilly had become so close to his colleague and friend Maggie Sullivan that he was beginning to imagine their friendship could lead to more. Only now, bizarrely, she’s backed off-and, even more strangely, she’s started looking for love on the Internet! Well, if he can’t beat them, he’ll have to join them…

Maggie can’t let herself get close to Sean. Not now. Not when she’s discovered something that will break all his dreams of happy-ever-after. But she has no idea how much she has hurt Sean-nor how much she has just fueled his determination to make her his… by any means necessary!

Review:
From the very first moment, readers are taken into the lives of Maggie & Sean as they work together as part of their local TV news team. Despite the fun, flirty beginning we soon discover that both Maggie and Sean harbour hurts and pain from the past.

Maggie and Sean have become close friends. The more Maggie gets to know Sean, the more she likes him. To the point where the camaraderie they share edges towards being more than flirtation. It’s then, to protect Sean, Maggie realises she has to pull back from him. It just wouldn’t be fair to put the weight of her burden on him.

Trish Wylie provides her readers with an emotion-packed book. Trish’s words flow easily and it’s a joy to be present as both the story and the romance unfolds. Maggie and Sean are two wonderful characters who deserve their happy-ever-after. As you finish this story, I guarantee you’ll close the book with a sigh of contentment.
