Review:

As the weather begins to get colder and the nights start to draw in, what better way is there to inject some sunshine into your life than by picking up Australian author Fiona Lowe's latest fantastic Medical Romance: The Most Magical Gift of All.

There are two things which Dr. Sophie Norman hates: Christmas and commitment. Sophie has never believed in Santa Claus - or in finding Mr. Right - and has spent most of her adult life working in war-torn countries on Christmas day and having short-term relationships with sexy bad boys. Sophie has not spent Christmas day with her family in England in years - and she is not about to start now, so she jumps at the chance of replacing Dr. Jack Armitage for three months in the small Australian town of Barragong. Sophie is expecting a stuffy, old-fashioned and middle aged country doctor, so she is shocked when Dr. Jack turns out to be young, charismatic and drop dead gorgeous!

Jack cannot wait to go on his holiday! Although he loves his job and adores the people of Barragong, he cannot wait to let off some steam, shake off the shackles of responsibilty and have some fun! But when he claps eyes on his replacement for the first time, Jack begins to wish that Sophie was the one he was having fun with!

Sophie cannot wait to start her job and to forget all about Christmas. However, she gets a nasty surprise when she is left in charge of a three year old girl - and Sophie has absolutely no idea about parenting! Sophie is desperate for some help and some guidance - and the only person who can give her that is Jack...

But as the two begin to spend more and more time together, they begin to fall head over heels in love with one another. But will Sophie's aversion to commitment and Jack's ideals stand in the way of their happiness?

A glorious, heartwarming and hugely engaging tale, The Most Magical Gift of All is an enjoyable contemporary romance with a lovely heroine and a gorgeous hero that will bring a tear to your eye and touch your heart.

Wondefully warm, moving and deliciously romantic, this Australian gem is another outstanding read from the marvellous pen of Fiona Lowe!
