Lucy Monroe has written a very sensual, moving and spectacular romance with The Greek’s Pregnant Lover. Spectacular doesn’t even begin to describe this no strings fling and I wondered if there would be a ring?

Childhood friends Zephyr and Neo met in a Greek orphanage, and left Greece at a very young age on a freighter and headed for Seattle where they as young men made their billions in real estate. We met Neo in The Shy Bride, Lucy’s first book and now this story is about the hard Greek Zephyr Nikos and his interior designer Piper Madison, his “friend with benefits”, his lover and his sincere friend. Zephyr knew someday he would probably marry but it definitely wouldn’t be for love, because love hurt and he had learned that as a very small child when his mother left him at an orphanage and left a life of prostitution and her husband who was her pimp for another man who offered her marriage. He begged her not to leave him but she did. Because of that he forged such a deep friendship with Neo and they bonded as not only business partners but as dear friends and brothers! He also developed a deep friendship with Piper, he enjoyed her beauty, personality and had respect for her as a designer and for her developing her new business. However, the had been separated for well over a month and he missed her. Now she was coming to Greece so they could work on an exclusive resort/spa project on a private island.

Piper grew up moving from city to city because her father was in the military and her deepest dream was to someday have love and a permanent home. She knew deep down because of a failed marriage and now being with Zephyr that it would probably not happen but she also realized while in Greece she loved him. After suffering a painful divorce from a cheating husband and having her reputation trashed by him. She was forced to leave New York and move to Seattle to start over. Zephyr had given her a second chance by hiring her which gave her to open her own design business.

Piper and Zephyr spent some down time alone in Greece just enjoying each other. She also realized in Greece after he revealed the secrets of his past and trust me they were upsetting, that he would never love her. Piper was on the “patch” so when they ran out of contraption, they both agreed it was OK not to use any. However, days later when taking a shower she realized it had gone missing…..what a mess and could she be pregnant. It definitely was nothing they intended. He trusted friendship very much and she couldn't’ understand if she was pregnant why he wouldn’t trust that a marriage would work. However, he knew he could not give her something she made clear and that would be love. So off they go to the private island and wait to see if she is expecting his child.

There was one thing for sure while on the island it was intense. However they had a very successful business trip and then returned to Seattle. She promised after seeing her OB-Gyn to see if she was pregnant she would call but a week went by and no word. He had time to think and he was NOT going to be a part time father and he was not going to beg her to marry him. He was determined she would accept and he went crazy when he couldn't’t find her. But one thing was clear, he begged his mother once not to leave him, to love him and he would never do that again or would he?

Their pasts definitely shaped their future, plus their friendship, their deep and powerful passion for each other. My heart ached for Zephyr because deep down I knew he loved Piper because besides Neo, she actual got him and deep down he knew it! The ending of The Greek’s Pregnant Lover was so very intense and moving it broke my heart learning of this proud Greek’s feelings and his turmoil. And my heart broke for Piper because she loved him so. This book will remain on my keeper shelf, along with the other Lucy Monroe’s incredible and amazing love stories……thanks Lucy!

The Shy Bride by Lucy Monroe was a beautifully crafted contemporary romance, the first in a two book series. The reader was introduced not just to one but two amazing Greek billionaires.

Neo Stamos and Zephyr Nikos became friends in a Greek orphanage, ran away together at age fourteen to work on a ship and in their early twenty's went into business together and became multi-billionaires. What was more important was they were brother’s of the heart, and fiercely loyal to each other. When Neo’s GP told him to slow down, Zephyr at a charity Seattle auction, bought his friend piano lessons for a year from the very talented Cassandra Baker but Neo being the workaholic he was tried to get out of them. However, a bet was the deal breaker so Neo went to his first lesson at the pianist home, the very same artist he listened to in his penthouse most nights. Before Neo began his first piano lesson, he had his staff research Cass and they found out Cass had agoraphobic tendencies. He was amazed after a few lessons how much he enjoyed her, so much so, they actually became friends.

Cassandra Elliott had lived her entire life for her parents and her music. At age three it was discovered she had an incredible musical talent playing the piano. Because she was so very talented, she was forced by her parents to perform at concerts all over the world. She lived for her ailing mother, and when she died, she let her father and her manager rule her life and manage her career. They both insisted she was to continue the concert circuit. A life that eventually debilitated her. After her father died, she had no one, no friends, never dated and on top of that at age twenty-nine, she was a virgin and an agoraphobic.

Cass and Neo’s relationship changed when the press found out about Neo’s lessons. There was almost a breach in her home security when the press stormed and pounded on her doors and windows. Because he actually liked her as a friend, he took matters into his own hands and paid for a security home renovation. At first Cass objected but then she agreed because she actually trusted Neo and also she also felt attraction for him. After a few kisses everything changed especially when she staid at his penthouse while her security system was being installed. They shared so much in such a short time and then it happened, their relationship went from friendship to the next level……they became lovers.

While I loved Cass and could sympathize how selfish her family and concert manager were, plus her being agoraphobic I wondered while reading the last few chapters could she find happiness with this proud, sexy and accomplished billionaire? Would yet her heart be once again broken?

“For the first time in years, Cass felt like she was living not existing through her music.” Can you even imagine that? This wonderful Greek man was so patient with her, tried to make so many things special for her. So just when you think they had a chance, Cass overhears Neo and Zee talking about their relationship and everything falls apart for her. Or did it?

Did Neo love her? How could he recognize love when his very own parents abandoned him as a child? The only bond and trusting feelings he had were for his friend Zee. However, he also realized if he didn’t have Cass in his life it wouldn’t be worth living so in the end, of course Neo loved Cass. Neo had denied what others took for granted, love and family.

The Shy Bride was a sweet and warm romance and I loved how author Lucy Monroe tied the story into Cass’s agoraphobic condition. This author does that from time to time, and she addresses medical or personal issues that affect people and does it brilliantly. To say I loved The Greek Tycoon’s Inherited Bride by Lucy Monroe is an understatement…..it was fantastic.

It had all the makings of a super romance, a Greek alpha, family honor, an arranged marriage plus the girl he knew he couldn’t have, his best friend who was promised to marry his brother. The arranged marriage by two proud Greek friends the Petronides and Leonides, a marriage not taking into consideration the participants feelings.

Spiros Petronides is the sort of Greek every woman would die to have in her life. He’s not only gorgeous; he’s rich and he very sexy. From afar he’s always fancied Phoebe Leonides but due to both of their families being close, he’s thought of her brotherly best friend. However, for Phoebe, it’s quite the opposite, she not only adores Spiros, she’s secretly loved him her entire life.

Phoebe has a serious problem because as a teen she agreed to an arranged marriage her family and the Petronides family made years earlier. On top of everything else, her fathers business is in trouble and will go under unless Phoebe married Dimitri, the oldest son. She’s sincerely upset because she feels her family has literally sold her into a loveless marriage when she secretly loves the younger brother, Spiros. There were so many emotions to this love story, Spiros and his overdeveloped sense of honor where Phoebe was concerned to the point of letting love go and even lying about his feelings. He was so afraid he would be weak like his father as far as relationships went that he would go to any length not to become like his parents. Spiros fought his love and his need for Phoebe but in the end you will tear up at how he goes about proving his love and his desire to marry her.

As for Phoebe, one literally reads and watches her become a strong woman when she stands up to both families, forgives Dimitri for choosing another to marry, forgives the scandal that incurs due to Dimitri’s mistress, forgives Spiros for hurting and lying to her about his feelings. It’s truly an incredible love story as only Lucy Monroe can intensely pen.

Leah made an important decision months earlier when she walked away from her affair with the billionaire and impossibly sexy Alejandro Rodriguez because she loved him and knew it was only a matter of time until he replaced her in his bedroom. She was finally becoming independent and stronger. Now months later she’s faced with the man himself who is determined to have her back and then make her pay by dumping her. He holds all the cards because he’s aware her brother is in financial trouble and so he blackmails her into coming back to him and pays off her brother’s debt to the loan sharks. He’s like a drug to her and she can’t help herself. For that matter, neither of them can help themselves and can’t seem to get enough of each other.

Alejandro Rodriguez was probably one of the most sexy alphas I’ve read lately because of author Trish Morey’s description of the man himself. I swear, he was the devil in disguise and her description of him and his relationship with Leah, well lets just say it will have you thinking and dreaming about this hero. What I loved about his character was that he was so self assured until the rug was pulled out from under him and when he had to take a close look at himself, his feelings, their relationship in the past and as it stood in the present; very emotional indeed. It was an affair that was so incredible and entertaining to read, one I will remember for some time.

As for Leah, the emotion she had to hide, mainly her love for him, her feelings that she wasn’t good enough for him nor wife material plus the fact she had to endure the harshness of his sister, well have some tissue ready, you’ll need them. Leah’s feeling of being temporary and convenient and finally giving up difficult to read as well. However, in the end, Alejandro’s realization that he loved her, probably had always loved her redeemed him for me. Back in the Spaniard’s Bed plain and simply was magnifico!

He absolutely adores her but one will learn Tino really doesn't know much about her plus the fact that he hasn't admitted to her that when his wife died he made a grave side promise.

Faith is a talented artist and teacher and a very brave woman. She has secrets about her past. She also has another secret which she’s kept from Tino. Before she met him, Faith met his mother and she’s become a dear friend. Due to the friendship, it was suggested Faith teach art at his son’s school. She’s kept her relationship with his mother and son to herself. As Faith’s story unfolds one will learn she’s just not talented, she’s also very brave.

Faith’s struggle in the end when it’s revealed she’s carrying his child and her absolute and unconditional love for the baby she’s carrying plus her relationship turmoil will have you crying. Only one way to describe it……an exceptionally sweet romance featuring an innocent woman who doesn’t see herself as being worthy of a handsome prince’s love. He’s her boss, her very best friend and she loves and adores him and for Grace Brown the past five years working for him, travelling with him, getting to know his family has been heaven. He’s changed her world and “filled it with light, warmth and sound”.

In Lucy’s July release Forbidden: The Billionaire’s Virgin Princess the reader was introduced to Princess Lina and the handsome, rich, playboy…… Sheik Amir. Both of their parents arranged a marriage between them but Lina fooled them all by falling in love and marrying her bodyguard Hawk. I’ve read every book in Lucy Monroe’s Royal Bride series and they only get better and better and more interesting. In Forbidden: The Billionaire’s Virgin Princess Sebastian Hawk and Lina Marwan are equally matched in sensuality, spirit and in their attraction for each other. In each chapter I couldn’t wait to see if Lina was going to out-smart Hawk as he was hired to be her bodyguard to watch over her and to also watch over her security team her family had hired.

As a small child, Lina was sent away from her home to live in the US with her aunt and uncle. She’s never felt a part of her family; she’s felt neglected, unwanted with the exception of the care her US relatives have given her and from time to time, her brother who infrequently. She’s been sheltered, watched over like a hawk and now she wants to spread her wings. However, the only way she can do that is to outsmart her security team and her new bodyguard Hawk has figured her out!
Hawk is one hot man! He’s exceptional at his job, owns his own security company, is well respected in the industry and wants no part of a relationship. He’s learned from the women in his life not to trust and to keep his relationships short and sweet. Now he’s been hired by the Sheik to watch over his daughter who’s attending college so he makes sure he literally bumps into her, sparks fly between them…..it’s immediate attraction for both of them, Lina so innocent and Hawk so “experienced” and it’s a battle of wills, lust and a love story you’re not going to want to miss!

Throughout the entire book I was rooting for them and you will as well because their attraction is so immediate and powerful. Hawk is torn every step of the way; he fights his attraction for Lina and in the end it’s an emotional breakup and farewell. What was incredible to read was Lina’s journey in self discovery, how she grew emotionally and outsmarted them all! This author has a gift for drawing her readers into the story and this book is no exception. In the end, let’s just say, their reunion years later is emotional and tender as only Lucy Monroe can portray and this book is a love story at it’s best! Cheers to Lucy and her Royal Brides!

Lucy Monroe absolutely charmed me with this book. It was one of those love stories ....sweet yet steamy and the main character Charlene Daniels we briefly met in The Rancher Rules. In both books, Charlene’s good looks and sexy figure give both men and women the wrong impression. No one realizes that she graduated at the top of her class in English literature, and for most of her teen to adult life, she was misjudged based on her looks and her recent occupation as cocktail waitress at the Dry Gulch, Charlene’s morals are impeccable, she has never been intimate with a man. She did try to seduce a rancher and it backfired’ a few people were privileged with that information, she is extremely nervous that her chances of being hired for a teaching position might be compromised. Her goal is to live her dream…..to teach and to be loved for who she is not how she looks!

When Charlene arrives at Win Garrison’s ranch to apply for a temporary housekeeping position, all she cares about is doing a good job, and earning some extra money before turning in her teaching application. What Charlene does not count on is that Win Garrison is a stunning cowboy with shocking good looks, an incredible body, sexy, charming and absolutely makes it clear he is off limits for marriage. He had been there, done that and it failed miserably. However, Win is determined to bed Charlene at any cost!

Their entire journey is a romantic dance of tension, foreplay, sass and a real battle of strong wills. Win wants Charlene at any cost and to keep her there in the evenings, so he begs her to stay when his sister literally “dumps” her two small children on his doorstep. Win’s determination and Charlene’s distress are something you will not want to miss! Their love story is beautiful; it is passionate, sizzling, and definitely sweet. I loved this book and it sincerely touched my heart, as I am sure it will touch yours!

I so enjoyed this book…….I laughed, I cried and found it to be the perfect Holiday read. Zoe Jensen’s character was fun, invigorating, dear, just plain sweet and not the usual woman in a Harlequin Presents novel. Her love for life, animals and her Kindergarten students was endearing and her secret crush on her best friend Grant Cortez will squeeze your heart.

Grant and Zoe have grown up together and during their later years have had two “sexy” encounters which left Zoe hurt and embarrassed because all of her life she has secretly loved Grant. Their relationship in spite of everything remained in tact and they consider themselves best friends.

Zoe has never felt she’s belonged as her parents made it clear the son they lost should have run their ranch. When her father decides to retire, he sells the ranch to Grant, leaving Zoe without a home. She understands that she would never have been a rancher due to her love for animals, being a vegetarian, plus her non-relationship with her family, well she feels abandoned and unloved with the exception of the one man she can always count on, her best friend Grant.

Grant has the responsibly of running the family ranch and business as his father and stepmother have moved to another state due to his father’s health. For years, he has watched over Zoe, has been her closest friend and truly adores her. Now Grant finds himself not only thinking more about her but also fights a physical attraction for Zoe. On top of everything else, he now finds himself having to take care of her as she’s been evicted from her apartment because of all of her pets….cats, birds, dogs, hamster.

Now they find themselves in a bad situation and where will Zoe live? With Grant? Because of spending more time together they find themselves doing the one thing that Grant has a rule against…..the NO kissing rule, yet on a few occasions, the rule is broken. They both fight the attraction but in the end give in and then decisions need to be made…..should they take it a step further and explore their feelings?

You will absolutely adore this wonderful story, not only due to it’s warmth and humour but the magical journey itself…….falling in love and the miracle of Christmas for these two lovers.
