GP Sarah Rigby is busy looking after her Sam and working every hour God sends at her health clinic – she’s certainly got no time from romance - so why is she so intrigued by the sudden reappearance of Ryan Harrison? As teenagers they had shared a passionate kiss but he’d left town and she’d never seen him again – and now he’s back recovering from an accident and trying to sell his childhood home to finance his life back in Melbourne.
Despite the fact that a lot of time has passed since that brief kiss, Sarah is still attracted to Ryan, but with a young child to look after, a busy professional life and Ryan’s apathy towards Yakkabura, she knows that a future with him is out of question.
But as fate throws Ryan and Sarah into close proximity, Ryan begins to realise that Yakkabura does have its attractions and that Sarah is the first woman who’s ever captured his heart and made him feel alive. But will Ryan be able to resist the lure of Melbourne or will he realise that home is where the heart is?
