Baby on Board

Review: ♥♥♥♥♥

Okay, here’s a question for you. . . If you – an adult male – had just pulled your T-shirt off because you were on your way to take a shower when the doorbell rang, and you were expecting another adult male to be on the other side of the door, would you put your T-shirt back on as you answered the door? Or would you simply answer the door shirt-less? It must be a man-thing. Or is it simply part of who Trace is, that he was so ordered and uptight that he had to appear “together” in front of everyone.

Nikki saw signs of this “control-freak” attitude before she’d been in the house two minutes. So why did she continue the interview, even to the point of accepting the job? Especially when the last thing she needed or wanted was another micro-manager in her life?

I admire Nikki. She stood up to Trace, and made no bones about telling him when she thought he needed to spend more time with his son. So how long did it take for him to come around to her way of thinking?

Sheriff Needs A Nanny is a heart-warming story of how one can find love, even if you think you don’t believe in it. Teresa Carpenter takes a strait-laced father, adds a sad little son, then mixes in the sunshine and light of a delightful kindergarten teacher, and there you have it – a great read! She brings a fresh new approach to a love story. I especially enjoyed the ending when Trace – on second thought, I’ll let you find that part out yourself.
