The last woman Samuel Bishop expected to have in his arms was his ex-wife. Left with amnesia from an accident, Laura had no memory of their bitter divorce. In her mind, she and the business tycoon were still newlyweds. With her ready to pick up where she thought their scorching-hot marriage had left off, he couldn't turn her down.
But soon Bishop realized he was playing with fire. He wanted to reclaim the wedded bliss this Laura had shown him, but what would happen when her memory returned?
And what would happen if it didn't?
Review: ♥♥♥♥♥
Amnesiac Ex, Unforgettable Vows by Robyn Grady was a very moving love story with two extremely likeable characters, Bishop and Laura.
Their courtship with swift and fast and they both fell head over heels in love with each other. As Grace, Laura’s sister said had they taken more time and not rushed into their marriage maybe things would have turned out differently. Had Bishop been able to understand that Laura’s heart condition didn’t diminish her need to have a child and not adopt one. Had they both been able to talk after the baby they conceived resulted in a miscarriage. It was all so easy to walk away from each other ending their marriage with a divorce.
Now Bishop was back in Laura’s life because she had an accidental fall and was suffering from amnesia. As her sister told him, maybe they would get a second chance and love one another again. It was such a touching story line and it was one of those love stories that at times was hard to read. As for Laura, she didn’t remember loosing the baby and she thought they had only been married a few months. For Samuel Bishop, it was shear torment because his feelings for Laura were both physical and personal. It was obvious he still desired and loved her after the weeks tending to her needs and moving back into the home he built for her. It was like walking on egg shells, wondering when she would remember, trying to turn away her touches and kisses, trying so hard not to make love to her; it drove him crazy.
After days of resisting his ex’s flirtations plus the tension of trying to decide if he should sell his business, he finally gave in and took some time off to spend with Laura. All she could talk about was creating a baby together, wanting her own child and not to adopt one and couldn’t understand Bishop’s resistance. And then, finally Bishop gave in, he couldn’t resist anymore and no matter what the consequences, he realized he wanted that child and Laura. He realized he loved her! Of course she knew he was worried something could or might happen to her and/or the baby. But she didn’t understand his behaviour until after a couple of weeks later part of her memory returned.
I wondered if they could get their second chance, clear the air, talk out why their marriage ended the first time. It had to workout because they both loved each other. But would it be enough? Because no matter how well they suited each other, there would always be the past between them.
Amnesiac Ex, Unforgettable Vows took place in Australia with the final scene taking place on New Years Eve, with the opera house, bridge and fireworks in the background. But those weren’t the only fireworks because after Bishop’s friend encouraged him to talk to Laura again, make her understand how much she meant to him, they had a lot to celebrate in the end. They got their happy ending and so much more thanks to the very talented Robyn Grady.

Review: ♥♥♥♥♥
Every Girl’s Secret Fantasy is a marvelously crafted romance by best selling author Robyn Grady. I read it from cover to cover, it was that special and very romantic!
Pace Davis and his brother Nick had aways been competitive. After their father passed away, Pace took over the helm of the family business, Broderick’s and then something he didn’t plan on happened, he made a horrible mistake and had to step down as the one being in charge. Now his brother Nick was the President and Pace, who was actually Davis Pace Brodrick and a millionaire was the Technical Rep/Chief Mechanic at very high end Broderick’s who catered to the rich and famous. They were also a sponsor of a local TV station and one of the hosts, Phoebe Moore caught Pace’s eye and interested him. In fact she more than interested him, he was a determined man, trust me.
Phoebe’s character was amazing because she had so much feeling and depth. However, she’s made a couple of mistakes in past relationships, her latest being her boss at her TV station. However, she learned one lesson from it, the passion wasn’t there and she ended it However, being a man he turned the tables and told her it was her fault and he never enjoyed sleeping with her. At the top of her list was to find “Mr. Right NOW”. The attraction between Pace and Phoebe was beyond amazing, He was handsome, had a great body, had a sense of humor and loved to tease her. He made her feel all sorts of crazy things and emotions, and he kept asking her out. She believed if she said yes to Pace, it would end in a disaster.
Phoebe grew up in a small country town as an illegitimate child and that fact was always first and foremost in the eyes of the town and her friends parents. Her mother never stopped loving the man who never wanted to meet her. In fact, she was on her way to see him when Phoebe was young and was killed in a head on accident. Her Aunt, ended up raising her and now her aunt needed her because the boiler in her country home was on the blink and Phoebe wanted to take care of it before the Winter arrived. As fate would have it, the repair man wasn’t available, Pace came to the rescue with a car and a tool box and off they went to her Aunt’s country home.
While in the country everything changed between them. There was almost a car accident which shook her up and reminded her of her mother death. Phoebe shared about her life growing up in a small town, her mother, her aunt raising her but that’s not all she shared, it was inevitable there was more than chemistry, it was earth shattering for both of them. The only thing Pace shared was his body. He didn't talk about his years growing up nor about his family.
Pace romanced Phoebe, did special things for her and in the end, he wanted her to move in with him. Romanced didn’t even describe it……..dinner, violins at a penthouse anddozens and dozens of roses. Plus the time spent at his mansion which she didn’t understand because she believed him not to be a rich man! However, she was guarded with her emotions because she didn’t want to end up like her mother. But she felt “complete” with Pace. She also knew she would need to walk away the day she fell in love and got in “too deep” because she wouldn’t end up like her mother. Being with Pace had helped her grow, he helped her forgive her mother and helped her face so much about herself.
In a most bizarre way, Pace’s secrets were revealed hurting Phoebe and my heart broke for her. The only positive thing that happened was he and his brother healed old wounds, became a team but when Pace’s true identity was revealed it was shocking for Phoebe and they both agreed to walk away from their affair. What a mess because Pace needed to give his entire attention to his brother and the business to fix problems his brother had incurred but at what cost? As for Phoebe, she was devastated but she was so much stronger and was determined to move forward even if it killed her. And then in the end, he came to her, admitted he was wrong and he gave her his heart in a most breath taking way as only Robyn Grady can pen.

There's only one position he wants her in...
Nina Petrelle, disastrous waitress to over-privileged island holidaymakers, has just been fired by her high-handed new boss
Gabe Steele - aka the smoking hot stranger she's just spent the best night of her life with Gabe can't say no to Nina's endless sun-kissed legs and her too-smart mouth that he's just craving to keep busy! But, despite the sun, sand and scorching hot nights, his head is definite - it's only a temporary fling isn't it?
Review: ♥♥♥♥♥
Fired Waitress, Hired Mistress by Robyn Grady was a fabulous rags to riches for the hero but for the heroine, quite the opposite. Then add sizzling attraction, danger and a startling reunion for Nina and Gabe set on an exclusive tropical paradise, it’s a perfect romance you’ll not want to miss.
Nina Peterelle for the most part and lived a charmed life until her brother and father died and her mother went through her father’s wealth. She had a job she adored in publishing until due to the economy she lost it. Through a friend she learned about a waitress job at a luxury resort and hopefully she would earn enough to keep her home. However, a few things became very clear to Nina that #1 the employees resented her because a friend helped her get the job and #2, she wasn’t cut out for her position.
Gabe Steele was quite the alpha hero in more ways than one because he saved Nina from drowning when he spotted her leg trapped in a log with the tide coming in on her day off. There immediately was a physical attraction between them, they felt it, it seemed familiar and unreal. Gabe ran a very successful accounting firm and was also the owner of the exclusive resort was that wasn’t revealed to Nina until it was too late. Gabe thought Nina was a guest and didn’t know she was a waitress. What he also didn’t realize was he knew her years ago when she was a “mean girl”. A spoilt rich girl, who said mean things to him, the sister of his best friend.
Talk about an uncomfortable reunion especially since they had become very intimate. Then the walls came tumbling down when each of their secrets were revealed their identities, their occupations, their goals, their dreams. They were both different people now. Nina had learned so much from her experience at the resort and there was one thing she learned for sure, who she was and what she wanted out of life. She also knew she loved Gabe but in the end she would need to leave him and the resort behind to protect herself and her heart.
Fired Waitress, Hired Mistress was a beautifully crafted romance by the extremely talented Robyn Grady pairing together two such different lovers together and weaving a love story and giving the couple a happy ending.

Queensland sheep station owner Jack Prescott wasn't ready to be a full-time father. He'd do his duty and care for his orphaned nephew, but he had no place in his battered heart for a baby…or for guardian Madison Tyler, the woman hell-bent on disrupting his life.
Yet Jack couldn't ignore the attraction he felt for Madison. Their affair was fast and furious…and soon fraught with regret. The city girl's stay in the Outback was only temporary, and Jack had a little boy to care for. How could they even consider bargaining for more time when neither was prepared for forever?
Review♥♥♥♥♥
Madison Tyler had just lost her best friend Dahlia Prescott and now she had the responsibility of giving her friend’s brother, Jack Prescott his nephew. However, she promised Dahlia she would make sure everything went well and so she demanded she return to his ranch with him and the baby to make sure the transition went well. However, after meeting Jack, she wasn’t too sure what to expect and how he would interact with the baby because he was so aloof, a loner and a mystery to her. One thing is for sure, Maddy and Jack immediately realize there is something sizzling between them with every look, touch and things could get very complicated for them both!
Jack Prescott was one hot cowboy! However, he was a loner and had many regrets. Now his sister was dead, he had this beautiful woman at his ranch and a nephew to care for and on top of that he was very attracted to this Australian “city girl” who he knew would want to return home to her father and her job. To complicate matters, Jack had resigned himself that one day in the future, he would probably agree to take his friendship with a neighboring rancher to the next level and marry. However, due to his past marriage they absolutely would not have any children. Now he has Maddy and the baby at his ranch and as they get to know each other, he realizes he must have her before she returns home so he breaks things off with the rancher and invites Maddy to a gala. Maddy accepts and both she and Jack know her acceptance means a lot more than the kisses that have been exchanged, it means intimacy for them both.
Throughout reading Jack and Maddy’s story, I realized I was holding my breath because early in their story it’s revealed that Jack lost his wife and child. Jack still wears his wedding band round his neck and after they become intimate, he’s still wearing it. There were also other factors, Maddy and her relationship with her father and her career at her father’s firm and her strong emotions about proving herself to her father. And then there’s Maddy’s love for the baby and how returning home would rip her heart out because she would be leaving both the baby and Jack behind.
Loss, they had both lost so much…….Jack his parents, his wife and baby, and now his sister. Maddy, her sweet mother and in a way her father and now her best friend. Jack blamed himself and was afraid to take a chance because he believed not to tempt fate. As for Maddy, how could she compete with a “dead wife and child”? And just when you think Maddy and Jack have a chance everything goes down hill because of communication and their differences……she was a city girl and he was a rancher and for Jack it’s all about the farm and what his ancestors had done for generations. As for Maddy, she wanted to prove herself to her father at his advertising firm.
Prepare your self for a “teary” ending as only Roby Grady can pen because when Jack realizes what’s important and that he would give everything up for the woman he loves, you’ll be sobbing your heart out, I promise because you’ll soon realize that Dahlia, Jack’s sister and Maddy’s friend was watching over all three of them, sending her love to them all and making them a beautiful family! Bargaining for Baby was truly a beautiful and romantic love story.

Now, forced to contact Devlin, Eden is stunned—he wants to pick up from where they left off. Even worse, her traitorous body seems to agree!
Will one night with Devlin mean she can finally move on with her life…? Or has this devil in a dark blue suit got other, more pleasurable plans in mind?
Review: ♥♥♥♥♥
Robyn Grady has penned a truly beautiful love story with Devil In A Dark Blue Suit. Devlin and Eden are facinating characters and their passion simply sizzles. Exquisitely told and a definite page-turner, it is a must read!
Eden and Devlin’s story is one of those that once you pick up the book you will absolutely need to read it from cover to cover. I love romances about second chances and this certainly is one of those and as I started to get to know the characters I honestly couldn’t understand why they ended their relationship three years earlier because it’s very obvious that they cared deeply about each other.
Now three years after their break up Eden has asked to meet Devlin because her sister is seeing his playboy brother and it’s serious. She feels the need to discuss and vent her concerns and end up in Dev’s brother’s hotel room in let’s say a compromising situation. It’s one that definitely will have the reader giggling! It’s only then that Devlin realizes that he must ask Eden to go away with him because it’s very obvious to both of them that the passion still exists between them after three years of being separated. Dev plans an oh so romantic getaway at a private and secluded island.
As you experience their romantic journey you learn a couple of things…..Eden definitely is the caretaker in her family…..she adores her younger sister, is skeptical of her relationship with Nate, Dev’s brother and has always watched out for her sibling. You also learn that the four months she spent with Devlin were glorious and that when she ended it it was because he would never commit and she was hurt badly. So now, why take the chance? Honestly I don’t think they ever had closure nor did they ever stop caring about each other.
Devlin Stone is one sexy and charismatic man and due to the behaviour of his father he has commitment issues. He’s very close to his brother Nate and it’s very obvious he misses Eden and he would like to continue the relationship but definitely not marriage as Eden would like. Talk about a romantic getaway, their days spent on the private island will absolutely take your breath away but in the end, Eden realizes she must cut Devlin out of her life and then she finds that she’s expecting his baby.
While being a beautiful loe story, at times it was painful to read because it’s obvious that the more Dev is with Eden, he definitely doesn’t want to let her go. He never wanted to hurt her like his father hurt his mother and he defintely didn’t want to persue the relationship if he couldn’t commit. As for Eden, she defintely wants the dream, she wants it all, marriage and family and Dev.
You’ll love the ending……let’s just say the siblings intervene and when Dev see’s his baby’s sonagram and the beautiful woman he adores, just prepare yourself for a ton of tears. Devil In A Dark Blue Shirt is definitely a romance I’ll read over and over again.

A scandal threatened one of Australia's most powerful bachelor billionaires. The solution? A proposal.
Alexander Ramirez was committed to the idea of family, and Natalie Wilder certainly brought the right assets to his bedroom. The engagement that he'd intended as a media distraction soon became a real possibility. As one obstacle after another got in the way of his plans, Alex became more determined than ever to keep Natalie in his bed. And he always got what he wanted!
Review: ♥♥♥♥♥
Natalie Wilder had a past and she was keeping it a secret from her billionaire lover Alexander Ramirez and the rest of the world. At seventeen she became pregnant; the father left her and her home town leaving her and her family to be town gossips. She delivered her baby girl early due to an accident and two hours later watched her pass away in her arms. Now she’s living in Sydney Australia and is a high end real estate agent. However, her grief for her baby is real and she visits the grave site and her mom when she can.
Alex Ramirez is a well known billionaire and is awaiting an answer on an important business deal. However, he’s attending his sister’s engagement party and has taken Natalie along as his guest but he also wants her to meet his sister. They’d been together for 3 months in a very intense relationship with no talk of future. Alex new he would marry and produce heirs and the reputation of the woman he would marry would need to have a wife to be above reproach. He remembers a discussion with his father about marriage and responsibility
It’s an awaiting game to get the results of the paternity test and Alex needs Natalie with him. He purchases a mansion and asks her to move in and also makes arrangements with her boss for her to have time off where they spend time on the beach at his secluded summer home. Their time together is romantic yet tense because the tests haven’t come back. The reporter is lurking around and Natalie makes her trek back home to her home town to see her mom. People in the town still stare at her and more and more she realizes sometime soon she’s going to need to tell Alex the truth because she’s in love with him.
It’s very clear to Natalie that that how he sees his future is married and with a son, a son she can’t give him due to complications that happened after the birth of her baby. Secrets as we all know have a way of blowing up in ones face and she keeps putting off telling him about her past. For them blow after blow, a young man they met on the beach whose mother was ill, her telling him about her infertile condition and her mother having a heart attack. How much more could they survive because there was one thing for sure….he wanted her, wanted to marry her.
Trust me, for this couple things keep going down hill with the exception of Alex finding out he’s not the father as he was accused. But when he she sends him away, he’s at his lowest. Be prepared for a good cry as it’s obvious they both belong together. Especially when he gives her a gift of love, a pledge of honour, truly a selfless gift one the reader will long remember.
Robyn Grady has a special gift of expressing her thoughts, and showing her character’s deepest emotions, a gift that is so romantic and sweet especially in this wonderful love story. I could actually believe her baby was an angel which brought them together and tears to my eyes.
The longer they saw each other the more Alex became open about their relationship and of course he had questions and wanted to know about her family and past. So as they are getting ready to leave the engagement party, he is accosted by a former business man and accuses in front of the party goers that his daughter is expecting and accuses Alex of being the father. To make matters worse, a reporter is awaiting them on the street and asks Alex two questions…..what’s he going to do about the baby and is he going to marry Natalie. On the spur of the moment, Alex answers “yes”!

Review: ♥♥♥♥♥
Robyn Grady has written a fantastic and wonderful love story in Bedded by Blackmail.
Tristan is quite a catch and is constantly pursued by women who for the most part want him for his wealth. He has left the family business and has become quite successful himself so he's learned to be cautious of women's motives.
When he returns home one day he finds a woman swimming in a pink bikini and long and tanned legs only to discover it's his "mousy" housekeeper Ella Jacobs. He's alarmed because there have been break-ins in his neighbourhood and sees her over turned purse. Ella is a lovely woman but she has secrets and she's keeping them that way. Just before her mother passed away, she found out her father had an illegitimate son and the only way to describe him is he's evil and he's blackmailing Ella. He's also gone to the police accusing her of killing her mother. The entire situation is a mess. Her brother Drago calls and hangs up, shows up without warning asking for money and has violent tendencies. In the end, an additional secret is revealed to Tristan and everything turns upside down.
Ella's not the only one with secrets, Tristan has one of his own; a fiancé who was killed when driving drunk. He also believes she was having an affair with his oldest brother. Reading this story one will definitely feel the family tension. At times you will see his jealous and mistrusting tendencies.
Bedded by Blackmail is a lovely romance with some lessons to be learned, like trust, forgiveness and belief in finding happiness. Just another example of an incredible romantic story as only author Robyn Grady can pen.

All Gage Cameron had thought about, as he clawed his way to wealth and power, was the woman he'd loved and lost so many years before. Now Jenna Darley was home at last—and he finally had the means to make amends for the past. She was desperate to adopt her orphaned niece, but she couldn't unless she had a home, a husband. He offered her marriage—in name only—planning to stay only until the baby was safely in Jenna's arms. But a woman's passion, and a baby's love, gave the tycoon far more than he'd bargained for.…
Review: ♥♥♥♥♥
Baby Request is an emotional love story with a little suspense thrown in along with tenderness and second chances for Gage and Jenna.
She once loved him and he left her without a word and twelve years later they have both returned to Australia. Jenna Darley to bury her father, twin sister and her husband and to get custody of her baby niece, Meg. Gage Cameron to settle an old debt to Jenna’s father and to make sure she is settled and happy. He’s determined to go to any lengths to make sure Jenna gets her niece even if it means marriage.
Jenna is in a state of disbelief….she’s lost her entire family in a plane crash and she never made amends with her father for past disagreements or for leaving home. To make matters worse, her father has left his entire estate to her stepmother and the custody of Meg is in jeopardy. On top of everything else, the love of her life has returned home. After spending a short time with him, he offers to assist her in getting sole custody of Meg by offering marriage. Should she take a leap of faith and marry him in order to accomplish getting Meg? Would marrying him destroy her?
Little Meg is the most important thing to her so she agrees to marry Gage and carry on the charade at all risks to her heart. In the end, being with him, having him take care of her, his gentleness, her sexual attraction for him, she’s determined to store the memories of their time together knowing in the end it will rip her heart out when he leaves. So she takes what she can, storing those memories away and also focuses on getting little Meg.
There are many lessons for these lovers to learn. For Gage, to come to terms with his past and understanding that he can love and have it all. For Jenna, forgiving her father and understanding why things happened. Also, forgiving Gage and understanding why he left her years ago. Their journey is just plain moving and beautiful!

THE AUSTRALIAN MILLIONAIRE'S LOVE-CHILD - Robyn Grady

Title: THE AUSTRALIAN MILLIONAIRE’S LOVE-CHILD
Author: Robyn Grady
Line: Harlequin Presents US & Mills and Boon Modern Romance UK– July 2008
The S-Factor: Sexy & Sensual

Cooper Smith is as driven as he's drop-dead gorgeous! Cooper has life all planned out and his night with Sophie was amazing, but—on mutual agreement—not to be repeated.
Three months later: the stick has turned pink. Sophie's expecting…and Cooper has just proposed a shotgun marriage….
Review: ♥♥♥♥♥
Robyn Grady continues to deliver an emotional and entertaining story in The Australian Millionaire’s Love-Child. The reader is introduced to Sophie who is attending a friend’s wedding shortly after a break-up with her boyfriend; on top of that, she’s feeling insecure about herself and the extra weight she’s gained; not to mention old friends comments about her situation. However, in the end it makes her realize she needs to make some changes and take charge of her life!
We’ve all been there at one time in our lives, single….attending a lovely wedding…..no date and that “horrible” bouquet toss for those single! Talk about embarrassing! Yes, you guessed it, Sophie’s was feeling the same way so she tried to be inconspicuous and didn’t join the group. However, little did she know the bouquet was not caught but would land in her lap and on top of everything else, Sophie didn’t realize that the most gorgeous man she’d ever set eyes on would overhear her friends discussing her lack of a boyfriend or the pounds she had put on!
Enter Cooper Smith to the rescue. Cooper is not only tall, dark and handsome, he’s a man who decides to take action and rescue Sophie, by physically swooping her up in his arms, and kissing her in front of the wedding guests. They both decide to have a nightcap in Cooper’s penthouse, learn a little about each other and that’s when Sophie learns that Cooper is a driven and successful attorney, one with a plan……he’s looking for a wife, wants a family and has made a list of requirements, none of which appeal to Sophie; just the man himself and oh what a man! One thing leads to another and they end up making love all night. From the beginning they both realize they want different things and as they say, they are both opposites and disagree about what’s important in a marriage……for Sophie its love and for Cooper compatibility, an agreeable and stay at home wife and at least children. So at the end of their evening, they agree to go their separate ways.
So, that’s the beginning of this enchanting and dazzling love story. What I felt made this book so remarkable was the way Robyn Grady gave the reader a deep emotional connection to the story and the characters. The way she developed the relationship between Cooper and Sophie and the new found knowledge they would soon be parents will have you reading this story from cover to the end. What’s even better is how they deal with their differences in opinion, and Cooper’s manipulation and dominance. For Sophie she wonders is she "the pre-wrapped package” or is she his destiny? Can they make this relationship work? Can they find love? Hopefully you’ll read and find out the answers and enjoy The Australian Millionaire’s Love-Child as much as I did…..you’ll laugh, cry, get exasperated with Cooper and love Sophie!

HIRED FOR THE BOSS'S BED - Robyn Grady

Title: HIRED FOR THE BOSS'S BED
(Originally Dream Job, Hot Boss! UK)
Author: Robyn Grady
Line: Harlequin Presents
Release month:
North America: March 2008
UK: Modern Romance Extra - September 2007 Australia: March 2007 - M&B Sexy Sensation
The S-Factor: Sensual and Sexy
Back-Blurb:
Working in Sydney's most dynamic advertising agency, Serena Stevens has just landed the agency's biggest account—this will make or break her career…. Serena's sexy boss, tycoon David Miles, may be all business in the boardroom, but soon he wants a little business in the bedroom! One wild night, Serena has to choose: career versus love, her dream job versus her hot boss! What's a girl to do?
Review: ♥♥♥♥♥
As I finished reading this book many thoughts came to mind. Dreams, goals, can they be achieved at any cost? I guess it depends on a person’s drive, their past, present and what their goals are for their future. Tonight as I was getting dinner ready I heard a commercial on the TV, the author is unknown but the message is one of the messages I believe Robyn Grady was trying to portray in her book Hired for the Bosses Bed. “When you give up the ability to decide for yourself, you give up you”.
Serena Stevens is a girl we all know maybe even one we recognize. In her youth, she had to overcome some physical obstacles, weight, eyes (coke bottle glasses), and self esteem and now as an adult her father’s negative comments as they relate to her future which just makes her more determined.
Serena is driven to make her goals and a name for herself in the media industry, to travel, and live overseas…..she is determined as she’s worked very hard in furthering her education, making major changes in her life…..her appearance and moving from her home town. She looks back at her accomplished mother who gave up her life for family and still wants the brass ring. Enter a man who will change her life!
David Miles, handsome, talented, millionaire, sexy and owner of the advertising agency Serena works at, gives her an incredible chance and promotion. He is looking for the top award this year in his field and when the person he is counting on injures herself, he gives Serena a chance but at what price? However let’s not forget that this incredible man had to also give up his dreams for family.
David and Serena are immediately attracted to each other, fight it, and act on it and eventually fall deeply. I can’t remember reading a romance where both characters are so equally matched but in the end, at such odds. Be prepared!
Robyn’s Hired for the Bosses Bed…..well I wish it had a different title because it really doesn’t portray the deep meaning the author was trying to deliver to her readers……so many lessons, packed with emotion, light humour, a true lesson in love and what’s important in life! Robyn keep on writing your incredible stories!

The Magnates Marriage Demand - Robyn Grady

Title: THE MAGNATE’S MARRIAGE DEMAND
Author: Robyn Grady
Line: Silhouette Desire
Release month: North America/UK: December 2007
The S-Factor: Sizzling!
Back-Blurb:
Marriage and children played no part in Armand De Luca's plans. Then the hard-driving tycoon learned he had to marry—and produce an heir!—or lose his company. When he discovered his late brother had fathered an as yet unborn child, Armand saw the perfect opportunity. But expectant mother Tamara Kendle was not at all sure she wanted any part of Armand, his millions or his convenient marriage. And she was so infinitely desirable, he wasn't sure this union could ever be strictly business…
Review:
This is Robyn Grady’s first novel for Silhouette Desire and what a brilliant debut book……So many layers in each of her characters the handsome and sexy millionaire Armand De Luca and the lovely Tamara Kendle. However, let’s not forget the others…..the dog, the housekeeper, the family friend and corporate attorney and the De Luca and Kendle family dynamics. WOW is the only adjective I can use to describe this wonderful love story.
Tamara’s heart is aching…..she’s not only lost her event planning business, she’s lost her best friend and the father of her baby and she doesn’t know how’s she’s going to make ends meet. Now she has to attend her friend’s funeral and say goodbye to Marc Earle. Tamara knows Marc has a millionaire brother Armand De Luca and when she sees him at the funeral, she’s distracted by his presence.
Think that’s bad enough……Armand arrives at her dilapidated apartment and makes her an offer she can’t refuse. His father’s will stipulates he must have an heir by a certain age and he knows that Tamara is pregnant with his brother’s child and close to being evicted. If he doesn’t produce a legitimate heir then he stands to loose a lot. Being an astute businessman, he proposes to take care of Tamara and the baby but there is a stipulation……they must marry and Armand claim the parentage. So many emotions and when Tamara feels she’s been used, it’s heartbreaking!
Their journey is a full blown rollercoaster ride and issues like family, values, revenge, trust, respect and what’s important. What I found very interesting was Tamara’s upbringing, her mom for the most part was emotionally “unavailable” for Armand, his family was split….he was raised by his father and Marc by his mother and believe me there were scars.
What I so loved about this book was their self discovery; what’s important family and trust being the most important, attraction, business, self worth, and when the walls came tumbling down for Armand when he viewed the ultrasound and he KNEW what was important…..the mother and the baby and his feelings, incredible!!!!
This is a marvellous book is all I can say, it challenges the reader to examine exactly what’s important and yet is so entertaining! Congratulations to Robyn for this very special love story!
