Baby Request is an emotional love story with a little suspense thrown in along with tenderness and second chances for Gage and Jenna.

She once loved him and he left her without a word and twelve years later they have both returned to Australia. Jenna Darley to bury her father, twin sister and her husband and to get custody of her baby niece, Meg. Gage Cameron to settle an old debt to Jenna’s father and to make sure she is settled and happy. He’s determined to go to any lengths to make sure Jenna gets her niece even if it means marriage.

Jenna is in a state of disbelief….she’s lost her entire family in a plane crash and she never made amends with her father for past disagreements or for leaving home. To make matters worse, her father has left his entire estate to her stepmother and the custody of Meg is in jeopardy. On top of everything else, the love of her life has returned home. So she takes what she can, storing those memories away and also focuses on getting little Meg.

There are many lessons for these lovers to learn. For Gage, to come to terms with his past and understanding that he can love and have it all. For Jenna, forgiving her father and understanding why things happened. Also, forgiving Gage and understanding why he left her years ago. Their journey is just plain moving and beautiful!

Dante D’Aquanni is not only a successful and powerful businessman, he’s one hot Italian who has learned the hard way from growing up on the streets of Naples. He’s a self made billionaire who raised his brother while building his wealth. Now he’s faced with a woman who has hurled accusations not once but twice and now in front of the press at his Lake Como Villa. She has accused him of being the father of her sister’s baby and he’s going to put an end to it and her as he suspects she and her sister to be gold diggers.

The beautiful Alicia Parker has recently returned home from Africa with little money, a broken spirit, plus a secret. On top of this, she has learned her sister has been in a serious accident which she and her unborn baby have critical injuries and need long term care if she is to carry to term. When she tries to find out the identify of the baby’s father she misunderstands her sister and believes it to be Dante. She has always taken care of her of her younger sibling since they were orphaned and whatever it takes by whatever means she will make him pay and stand up to his responsibilities.

Dante is in the middle of an important deal which will put his company and it’s investors well over the top and place them as the most successful construction organization the in the world. He can’t afford any scandal or publicity. He knows several things…..he can’t mess up the deal, and he must keep an eye on Alicia and keep her close, and keep her sister and the baby a secret. However, the most important fact is there is something about her that calls out to him and he must have her even though he mistrusts her. In fact he doesn’t trust any female due to a past experience and he certainly will never marry.

Alicia realizes she has made a mistake by accusing Dante falsely of being the father of her sisters baby when in fact is was his brother. He uses this to blackmail her into staying with him during the business negotiations. In return, he agrees to assist financially with her sister’s and baby’s care. She also knows deep down inside this man has the capability of hurting her emotionally due to their attraction for each other. After just one kiss and later when they take their relationship further, she knows he can destroy her. For the past year she has cut herself off from emotion and yet this man can bring her to tears. Leaving would be the easiest solution but she keeps coming back for more.

What I would warn the reader is “read at your own risk” because you will be in tears and filled with emotion each time Dante uses cynical and harsh words or when he’s abrupt with her out of his own frustration. He always believes the worst in her but is drawn to her like a moth to a flame. He’s a coward to trust in something good which is just so terribly sad. However, when the truth and reasons for his actions are revealed, just be prepared because it’s extremely moving and emotional.

Paul watches Megan closely. He’s never met a murderer yet who didn’t proclaim his innocence. But she seems so truthful. So what is she hiding?

Megan works in an art gallery, she is organized, tidy, a hard worker, and loyal to a fault. She also has a problem she doesn’t want anyone to know about – or at least as few people as possible, and this list definitely does not include detective Paul Wallace.

The more time Paul spends with Megan, the more he comes to believe someone is trying to frame her for murder. But who? He keeps telling himself that he needs to stay close to her in order to keep her safe.

This is book number four in the McClains series by Terri Reed, and it’s every bit as good as the first three. In this story, the heroine was believed guilty by the police of something she had not done. To me, that is the ultimate in fear, second only to someone trying to kill you. I was terrified right along with Megan when both these fears came into her life. Yet I was so involved in the story that I couldn’t put the book down until I finished it. I loved the ending, how Paul finally realized that God had brought them together to compliment each other.

Love Inspired Suspense books have no sex in them, they do have reference to belief in God, and I find them a refreshing change from the books where the hero and heroine regularly fall into bed together throughout the stories. Terri Reed is a master when it comes to putting suspense and mystery into a wonderful love story.

Brody was a strong, handsome alpha male. He also still had a lot of anger toward his ex-wife, which at times got dumped on Lucy. At first Lucy was a meek little thing, and I despaired of her ever finding her backbone, but when the time came, she stood right up to everyone and made her beliefs known in no uncertain terms.

This book, like all Donna Alward’s books, caught me right into the story, and held my interest to the very last page. Donna has a very direct and down-to-earth way of writing that I thoroughly enjoy. Read this wonderful love story for yourself and see how two people who think they’re unsuited for each other, are, in the end, more than suited.

As a reader do you ever fall in love with the male alpha? Well I did; Caleb is one smart, handsome, sexy man with an incredible sense of humour. What better way for his story to begin than at the wedding of his best friend where he is the best man. Honestly, his mind is not on the wedding, it’s in the clouds until he spot’s Ava Halliburton, the sister of the groom. The woman he loved years ago who left him in search of a career.

Ava has returned back to Melbourne for her brother’s wedding after years of being away furthering her academic career. She’s left behind in the States some unfinished business, her academic standing at university and a recent relationship which ended badly. Now she’s returning home for a few days not knowing what to expect from her parents nor the man from her past, Caleb.

As only Ally Blake can write, this was sincerely a moving and beautiful love story. From the setting in Melbourne with it's high society, to the Halliburton’s family dynamics, the wedding and happy couple but most importantly the past lovers, Caleb and Ava. For them the realization that maybe you can never go back but you certainly can forgive, trust and move forward. It's an extremely moving story about second chances especially for Ava and Caleb and her family.

Ava and Caleb’s clashing personalities, the banter, their love making and getting reacquainted will have you laughing and crying at the same time. But most importantly when Ava comes to the realization that she has always been loved, that she’s been sincerely missed by her family and the person “who gets her” is Caleb himself. This sexy alpha has an incredible heart and will surprise you in the end for what he’s willing to sacrifice. Plain and simply, it’s beautiful and so worth reading!

Becky also spent painful years growing up with parents who constantly argued and was always aware that they only reason they married was to give her legitimacy. Her parents and grandparents always made it clear that she never measured up to their standards. So now becoming a nurse consultant is her only goal.

Most definitely a Cinderella story literally from rags to wealth beyond imagine for Lucy Abbott and her daughter Chloe. Add revenge, desire and mystery; it’s an incredible love story and journey as wonderfully written by author Jennie Lucas.

For most of her life Lucy and her mother lived from payday to payday and moved from town to town. Her mother died at an early age leaving Lucy to survive in foster care. Now on top of everything else, Lucy finds herself nearly destitute trying to support herself and an infant. She’s working at a gas station convenience store, with a letch for a boss, working more than one job just to support them. On top of everything else, the father of her child denies his paternity and wants nothing to do with either of them.

Lucy is determined to provide and care for Chloe and will go to any lengths to do so. As one will learn she is a woman of honour and extreme strength and wants the family she never experienced for her daughter and herself. A father for Chloe is at the top of her list since she never knew her own father nor experienced the warmth of family.

The handsome and wealthy Prince Maximo has a grudge and seeks revenge. He returns to the US and has a plan, one in which will benefit him in a business sense but it all revolves around Lucy. Sheikh Kahlil al Hasim like all desert princes is proud, extremely handsome, arrogant and not too pleased that he has been summoned home to Al Ankhara to meet with his father and the council. He’s had to put a multi-millionaire business deal and a new mistress on hold to return to his father and the desert. Kahlil has always known he was a part of Al Ankhara and someday he will need to lead his people. He’s spent a good part of his life pretending he wasn’t part of it

On the night of his return he observes someone dressed in the native dress walking directly into the ocean. He investigates and learns that this person is non-other than the beautiful Layla. What he eventually learns is of her betrothal to the “pig” of a man and like all warriors Kahlil feels he must save her from her fate, so he comes up with a plan. Kahlil also realizes that he must keep his father from being a part of a disastrous plan that would bring grief to his country. Duty and honour are part of him but at times, he wishes things were different!


Layla is an extremely lovely woman with such a spirit and fire it will warm your heart and she’s has walked into a mess in more ways than one. How can she escape this marriage and now she is under the protection of this sexy sheikh, at times it is more than she can emotionally endure. Will Kahlil’s plan work or will it backfire? This spitfire is constantly challenging this desert prince and he resorts to always kissing her into silence or submission.

Like all East meets West love stories, there are misunderstandings, frustrations and a sexual tension that heats up the pages as only Sandra Marton can pen in the Sheikhs Wayward Wife. Their desire and passion are immediately felt by the reader and Kahlil’s confusion as to what he is feeling and experiencing were a joy to read, especially his strong feelings in wanting to protect Layla and the means with which he did protect her.

This second book in the Sheikh Tycoon’s series was a sincere pleasure to read. Its passion and fire were so evident and had me wanting more and more and not wanting their beautiful love story to end.

Every once in a while a book stands out for a reader and The Spaniard's Marriage Bargain, well let's just say it's brilliant and I personally think it's Abby Green's best! It is about deep, abiding and selfless love.

Rowan Carmichael grew up knowing she was not very important in her parent’s lives; however her mother on her death bed made her father promise to see Rowan married. Her father fulfils that promise and makes arrangements with the handsome businessman from Spain, Isandro Salazar. All Rowan knew was that she was a naive rich girl totally enamoured with this handsome man and she also knew she was out of her league. What she didn't count on was she would consummate her marriage on her wedding night and fall madly in love with her husband.

Isandro Salazar's business was successful. However, he needed acceptance in the London financial community. To do this he needed to accept Mr. Carmichael's offer to marry his daughter in a marriage of convenience. What he didn't anticipate was his attraction to Rowan and he actually enjoyed her company. Months later they found out they were expecting a baby which was not part of the plan. As fate would intervene, Rowan overhears a conversation between her husband and his sister where he declares it's just that, "a marriage of convenience" and confirms their marriage will only be that...........a loveless marriage.

As the story unfolds, Rowan and Isandro's son is born, a beautiful boy named Zac. Rowan realizes that to survive she must leave her husband and son. While reading this story you will need to prepare yourself as it will rip your heart out! To say any anymore would ruin the reader's experience.

Three years later, Rowan shows up at a London hotel where she plans to meet her attorney and as fate would have it, it's the very hotel her husband owns. Of course, who's on the premises, none other than her husband and son! It's an emotional powder keg! Islandro doesn't trust Rowan or her motives and insists they all return to Isandro's estate in Spain to work out parental and custody issues. Of course, there's the fact they both have to deal with the personal side of their relationship. It's extremely painful to read as the emotion is very strong between the two of them and cruel at times, especially what Rowan has to endure.

It's a love story filled with secrets, twists and turns, misunderstandings, intense sexuality......it sizzles! Prepare yourself for an outstanding story and reading experience by contemporary author Ms. Green. I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed the Spaniard's Marriage Bargain. It just intensifies how important communication is in a relationship along with truth, honesty and trust.

Tariq is aware that he must rise to the cause of someday being the ruler of his country due to the recent death of his beloved brother. He’s committed to finding a wife so he searches in his own country and neighbouring regions with no luck. He’s determined to return to the US, continuing the search of finding a wife.

One evening he watches a television broadcast featuring Future Born and Madison Whitney is speaking about sperm storage and its use for the future. Just watching her stirs a need in him, and as fate would have it, they meet at his lawyer’s cocktail party. Madison seeks him out in an effort to get rid of an unwanted guest. Immediately Tariq realizes who she is, and he acts on his attraction later that night in the garden. Things get out of control and when they are interrupted, he believes himself to be a fool; she’s as consumed by lust as he is but in the end she resists and denies all. Fate steps in again. Madison has arranged to be inseminated and becomes pregnant with the donor she chose? Did she really? No! For some reason which is not known to Madison, she receives the wrong sperm. Tariq has been informed of the mistake and that he’s going to be a father and Madison is the mother. There is only one thing to do, marry this feisty woman for the sake of their unborn child and he realizes is will be hard to convince her! When the news is dropped like a bomb, Madison bristles, no way will she marry this proud sheikh. However, Tariq has other ideas. Their journey is an incredible one; from their getting to know each other, to their marriage and what fate delivers them. The Sheikh’s Defiant Bride is just another wonderful Sandra Marton love story.

Sincerely, there is so much I want to share but that would be unfair to the reader. You’re just going to have to trust that this first book in The Sheikh's Tycoon series is so worth reading. Sometimes when you least expect it an incredible story unfolds with so many lessons and this is no exception. Their journey and the love they both realize, just wonderful!

I can’t ever remember reading a book with such an interesting opening of the first few chapters. Both the beginning and end of the Italian’s Boss’s Mistress of Revenge will have the reader on edge, wondering what’s next; it’s that intense and explosive. Again, Trish Morey has woven an intriguing love story.


It’s obvious that handsome, rich and ruthless Dante Carrazzo is out for revenge and wants to take establishment down to rubble, The Aston House, Upon his arrival he gets the impression that there is a surprise in his room and oh what a surprise and none other than the beautiful manager Mackenzi Keogh and she’s not only beautiful, she’s asleep. Dante decides to act upon his “gift” so he makes an attempt to wake her through seduction and to her horror in the morning, Mackenzi realizes that it’s Dante, the very man who can destroy Aston House.

Aston House holds sentiment and memories for all who have stayed there or celebrated weddings, anniversaries and the like and for Mackenzi, her family, friends and co-workers they don’t want to see it sold or destroyed by Dante Carrazo. The evening before his arrival, Megan is dead tired and ends up sleeping in Dante’s room; only he arrives early and surprises her during her sleep with sensual caresses.

It’s obvious to the reader that immediately there is a physical attraction, that Dante is ruthless and takes revenge to a new level as he proposes that Mackenzi become his mistress and he’ll think about the future of Aston House if she agrees to his proposal.

It’s a rollercoaster ride, one you will not want to miss with all sorts of twists and turns every step of the way. To say anymore would spoil this beautiful and painful love story but in the end, there is one big surprise and when the true reason for revenge is revealed you will be in tears, I promise.

An Honorable Rogue is another winner from historical romance author Carol Townend and is another engaging exploration of life at the time of the Norman Conquest! The story begins in France and follows Benedict as he accompanies Rose on an adventurous passage to England. However, alongside the physical journey, Rose is also taken on a personal, sexual awakening, journey-of-discovery. Ben is a longstanding family friend, and although Rose finds him attractive, she has never allowed herself to dream that he could offer her the security and stability she craves. Ben is a lovable hero, full of warmth and charm. Unbeknown to Rose he has a secret undercover mission which adds mystery and excitement to the plot. Rose is an ambitious and strong woman who modern readers will find easy to identify with. She struggles to fit into society and her endeavours give her character an admirable inner strength. The relationship between the hero and heroine is frequently heartbreaking for the reader because Ben is obviously in love with Rose, yet she refuses to focus on his positive side, only seeing the negatives which he wraps up with his easy going, happy-go-lucky nature.


The author gives a fantastic attention to detail which enables the reader to feel like they are accompanying Ben & Rose on their voyage. The additional emotional journey that both the characters undertake has the story brimming with sensuality, tension and suspense making for real page-turning qualities. Carol Townend is adept at writing historical novels and An Honorable Rogue is one of her finest. Rich in historical detail it vividly brings a long-gone era to life, and is an utterly romantic read and a real winner. Highly recommended.

Sam is shaken by the man and the kiss. She too cannot erase the memories out of her mind. It's painful, keeps her awake and when she takes an assignment to map the boundaries of a few Arab countries she believes she can shake those memories until she meets him again face to face.

Vere immediately puts up a wall and then one of her "jealous" co-workers puts it into his mind that Sam cannot be trusted. Vere seeks his brother's counsel and they decide to investigate her. He proposes a trip to the desert and then everything goes down hill from there. They act on their feelings and everything spirals out of control.

A wonderful love story with so much passion and pain and in the end Vere learns the lessons of love, trust and healing. A great sheikh book, excellently penned by Penny Jordan!

He tells owner that he and Nicole are engaged to be married and that they will both fly to his exclusive island to seal the deal. The meeting goes well and so does their time alone together. In fact so well, that Nicole finds out she’s expecting.

Luke is shocked! He’s going to be a father. Nicole has other ideas…..she wants to return to England and raise the baby herself. She’s aware that Luke will never commit and she’s fine with being a single parent. Luke has other ideas.

Sometimes it takes a tragedy to wake a stubborn alpha and make him see the light and that’s in the end what happened to Luke Santana. This book was an amazing love story. I loved the way author Kathryn Ross used their lust, attraction and the pregnancy to bring them together. Luke’s realization that he loves Nicole will have you in tears.
